Masai Guest House

Surrounded by indigenous plants and a medley of domestic animals that ramble around the compound, the Masai Guest House offers an artistic homestead for guests looking for a reclusive retreat.

Situated below the camel and ostrich enclosures, the cottage comprises two stories and offers one a private view of the Nairobi National Park from its small balcony.

Downstairs the kitchen and living room are interlinked via rounded stone walls and wooden fittings, enlightened by each unique glass window over both levels.

A small garden and picnic spot will enliven you with a myriad of sculptures, glass art, and variety of animal visitors. The unique outdoor shower is set in a separate glass dome, and the toilet comprises a long drop. The border of the small property opens out on to a wilderness area.

Founded in 1981 the Kitengela Glass sanctuary has long been a neighbour of the Nairobi National Park, and offers a retreat for art and nature lovers, looking for an escape from day to day routines and a place to feel uplifted.

Spa: Kitengela has small intimate gallery with local artwork and craftsmanship.
