Mihingo Safari Lodge

Mihingo Safari Lodge is an upmarket accommodation arrangement located on the southern boundary of Lake Mburo National Park.

The Lodge is set on a rock Kopje – Precambrian rock which was formed over 500 million years ago hence presenting it with a vantage position that overlooks the extensive savannah of Lake Mburo National Park

Mihingo Safari Lodge features an Eco setting blending fully with the surrounding ecosystem. It has an Olympic size swimming pool with the views of the valley below where wild game can be viewed like Buffalo, the Impala and eland among others.

Accommodation at Mihingo Safari Lodge is provided in twelve (12) upmarket / luxury tented rooms that are crafted to offer guests privacy and tranquil atmosphere. Every room features its own character and charm with them overlooking the lake, positioned in the forest, located on a rock out crop or close to the water hole.

Every tent features en suite bathrooms, cold and hot running water, flushing toilets and showers. The rooms feature a sensitive design complementing the local touch. The doors are framed with pieces of dead olive wood while the exterior walls feature African soil colors. The rooms feature solar power and the solar water heater.

Mihingo Safari Lodge has a thatched dining area that is positioned on a rock Kopje offering a panoramic view of the park and hills beyond. The Bar is well stocked and features a wide range of South African and Australian wines.
