I have to write an essay in social studies about an animal that lives in the Great Barrier Reef. I searched for an animal and found the dugong. I've been researching them for awhile and have found that they're very interesting. I wish there was some way that we could stop the things that were threatening them, and I think that the main thing threatening them is us. But I agree with you. I don't THINk that offshore oil exploration activity will hurt them, but I think that it's important that people discuss it before making a decision. And thank you, whoever made this site.
